Introduction

Through a suite of bandwidth selections, NWT covers over 95% of commercial areas, providing 'always-on' high-speed Internet access for all types of businesses and a reliable connection to access or host servers, handle e-mail with voice/video, access remote LAN, deliver FTP transfer, conduct video conferencing, VoIP and e-Commerce.

	Internet access via Fibre-To-The-Building (FTTB)

	NWT's fibre networks are built on Dynamic Packet Transport (DPT) Rings combined with Fibre-To-The-Building (FTTB) architecture which ensure the highest level of performance and reliability.

	All major districts in Hong Kong are connected by NWT's self-built fibre network to form a dual-fibre-ring. With our network infrastructure optimized for IP packets delivery, data travel and exchange can be made at speed of multi-gigabits in the local hub site. Gigabit connections are provided between the local hub site and the customer building.

Multi-user for server applications

With varieties of bandwidth subscription, NWT’s business broadband allows large corporate network to share the Internet resources over their enterprise connection.

In addition to the normal use of email and web browsing for the office network, it enables businesses to host their own email or web server within the office. With free-on-loan router and multiple fixed IP addresses provided, NWT's network is capable of hosting email and websites, implementing Intranet and Extranet, and allowing mobile office workers to access the office network. Voice and video conferencing applications become viable with our high-speed two-way connection.
