Through a suite of bandwidth selections, NWT provides 'always-on' high-speed Internet access for all types of business ranging from MNCs, SMEs to SOHOs. Our broadband access solutions utilize NWT's local fibre networks to meet the most demanding access requirements. NWT's fibre networks are built on Dynamic Packet Transport (DPT) Rings combined with Fibre-To-The-Building (FTTB) architecture which ensure the highest level of performance and reliability. With a wide array of bandwidth in both uplink and downlink directions, NWT Broadband Internet Access provides a reliable high-speed connection to access or host servers, handle e-mail with voice/video, access remote LAN, deliver FTP transfer, conduct video conferencing, VoIP and e-Commerce.

Internet Access via Fibre-To-The-Building

Reliable high-speed data delivery made possible through NWT's Dynamic Packet Transport (DPT) mechanism. All major districts in Hong Kong are connected by NWT's self-built fibre network to form a dual-fibre-ring. With our network infrastructure optimized for IP packets delivery, data travel and exchange can be made at speed of multi-gigabits in the local hub site. Gigabit connections are provided between the local hub site and the customer building. With the use of Long Reach Ethernet (LRE) technology from CISCO Systems, high-speed symmetrical bandwidth delivery through Ethernet to the customer desk-top is made possible.
